When a Move Needs More Than a Lorry
Some items and properties need extra planning, equipment or people. We work out the method before moving day so there are no surprises.

Up by crane, in through the balcony
When a bed was too large for the stairs, we wrapped it, built a frame around it and lifted it by crane to the top-floor balcony. Our team then guided it in through the doors.

Heavy and unusual items
From stone planters and garden statues to kitchen islands and safes, heavy items are assessed for weight, route and floor protection before we lift anything.

Difficult access
Narrow staircases, tight lanes, upper floors and items that won't fit through a door can require a different approach. Depending on the job this may involve crane requirements or indoor scaffolding, arranged as part of the plan where applicable.

“I cannot recommend RH Removals enough. Polite, super helpful, flexible (we had a nightmare getting into our new place, they had to wait hours). They went above and beyond and best of all are very reasonably priced.”
“Ross and his team are absolutely amazing. They managed to move a kitchen island unit wrapped in quartz stone that weighed nearly half a ton, and did so with incredible care and precision.”
“We found RH Removals to be exactly as they are described on their website, a small family business providing excellent services from initial contact to completion, even though the notice that they were given was very short.”
