Large property & estate moves
Moving a Larger Home Takes More Planning
Country houses and estates often mean outbuildings, artwork, antiques, long drives and a move spread over several days. We structure the job so each stage is clear.

Planning the move in stages
On a larger move we start by agreeing what moves when. Some rooms may be packed and stored early, others delivered straight to the new property, and some items may need crating or specialist handling.
Where it helps, we break the relocation into phases so you're not living among boxes for longer than necessary.

Vehicles and capacity
We can run several vehicles on the same job, including our lorry and trailer for high-volume moves. Our de-mount removal bodies can be loaded, lifted off and held while the vehicle continues with the next stage.

What a large move can involve
Every property is different, but larger relocations commonly include:
- Full packing of the house
- Artwork and antiques
- Bespoke crating
- Multiple vehicles
- Preloading
- Multi-day moves
- Containerised storage
- De-mount bodies
- Specialist and heavy items
- Staged relocations

“I cannot recommend RH Removals enough. Polite, super helpful, flexible (we had a nightmare getting into our new place, they had to wait hours). They went above and beyond and best of all are very reasonably priced.”
“Ross and his team are absolutely amazing. They managed to move a kitchen island unit wrapped in quartz stone that weighed nearly half a ton, and did so with incredible care and precision.”
“We found RH Removals to be exactly as they are described on their website, a small family business providing excellent services from initial contact to completion, even though the notice that they were given was very short.”
